Introduction
As the Coordinator of POWERCO2, it is my great pleasure to invite you to our first open conference.
POWERCO2 stands as the largest state-funded initiative in France dedicated to CO₂ conversion, uniting premier universities and laboratories.
Since our launch in 2023, our 27 teams have collaborated through internal sessions to drive innovation. To mark our midterm milestone, we are opening our doors to the wider scientific community for a rigorous three-day program.
We will showcase breakthroughs ranging from electro-chemical CO₂-to-sugar conversion to plasma catalysis, enzymatic pathways, and nano-engineering for photonic materials. These highlights represent only a fraction of the work led by our consortium and its 17 PhD researchers.
We look forward to welcoming you to Lyon for this deep dive into the future of carbon.
