That’s exactly the core question we are tackling in our upcoming session. We are thrilled to announce a powerhouse lineup diving into CO₂ valorisation and utilisation of renewable energies

Plenary Spotlight: “The Electroreduction of CO2 to hydrocarbons and alcohols: challenges”
Converting carbon dioxide using renewable electricity is an attractive strategy for storing clean energy and utilizing CO₂ as a raw carbon feedstock. However, despite two decades of extensive global research, critical hurdles remain—namely reaction selectivity, carbonate formation, and carbon loss.

During his plenary lecture, Prof. Fontecave will explore these challenges and present potential solutions, sharing insights from his ongoing, industry-partnered research at the Collège de France.
